About Hazelbank

We are Pam and Mark who made the move to live permanently on Skye after falling for its immense charms during our first visit here in 2009. We enjoy walking, especially exploring the less travelled areas around our home, climbing, mountain biking and cooking. We are dog lovers but unfortunately we currently don’t allow dogs due to allergens. We have recently enjoyed our attempts at sea fishing from the coastal rocks and from a sea kayak.

Hazelbank is a bright and airy house located on a quiet road just off the main road between Dunvegan and Glendale. Colbost is a rural retreat with the scenic and tranquil qualities brought about by generations of crofting on the nearby lands. The house has fantastic views of Dunvegan castle, Dunvegan loch and the Cuillin mountains. We have three En suite rooms available for B&B guests.

The guest lounge is upstairs and has expansive views across Loch Dunvegan to Dunvegan Castle and the surrounding area.

The hills at the back of our house can be accessed from our garden and Dun Colbost broch is a 1.5 mile round trip walk. Along with several other broch's, all of Skye's amazing landscapes and sites are easily accessible from our beautiful area. Particularly close are Neist Point Lighthouse and Dunvegan Castle, both around a 20min drive. Some of the less travelled but most stunning walks can be easily accessed.
